1. Share this website with friends and colleagues.

2. Follow @AppLingPress and post about ALP on social media.

3. Read and cite works published by ALP in your own research.

4. Assign readings from ALP (or other open access materials) in your classes.

5. Talk about the importance of open access publishing with anyone who will listen.

6. Decline invitations to review book proposals/manuscripts for corporate, for-profit publishers.

8. Volunteer to review, copyedit, or contribute cover art at ALP.

9. Write to an ALP author to compliment their choice to publish with an open access press.

11. Make a donation. (See here.) ALP is committed to providing 100% open access to everything we publish. The press is run on a volunteer basis, but there are sometimes small costs associated with web development, design/images, and copyediting. Any contribution toward those needs will go a long way!
